# Lab 1: Trace the Request

## What I practiced

In this lab, I worked with a simple virtual Linux network and used networking tools to examine:
|

|
|
- name resolution,
|
|
- route selection,
|
|
- next-hop addressing,
|
|
- outgoing interface and source addressing,
|
|
- and neighbor information.
|
